I did it.
I ran my first 5K today.
Here are the stats:
3.2 Miles in 33 minutes and 20.9 Seconds
12th place out of 44 runners
1st Place in my age group of Female 20-29
{there were only 4 of us in my age group, so don't be too impressed with this one}

it was a really relaxed, quick medal ceremony}
{Kinda a cool, simple medal. It's a bike chain wrapped in a circle,
which then has a cardboard chip in the center with the 1st place on it.}
I didn't do as well as I had hoped to, but I still ran it.
Next on the agenda, 10K in August.
